About Dr. Lee

My name is Hae Lee. I am an honors graduate of Touro College of Medicine in New York City and am trained in general surgery residency.

I was born and raised in South Korea and I have been living in NYC since 2002 where I completed my pre-med studies at Columbia University and graduated Summa Cum Laude from my undergraduate program. During that period I participated in oncologic research at Memorial Sloan Kettering resulting in my co-authoring a study on bone marrow transplantation in Cancer Research. In medical school was elected early to The Sigma Sigma Phi Osteopathic Honor Society my junior year.

I have always placed the highest standards of excellence in my work, and my ultimate goal is to teach and to treat an underserved population. I would also wish to make regular trips to my homeland, and also possibly North Korea, to perform surgeries on the indigent population with an international surgical group. My travels on medical missions to Africa have inspired me in this endeavor.
